Graham Creek Nature Preserve Educational Programs
Come learn with us!
Graham Creek Nature Preserve plans and hosts a variety of organized educational programs throughout the full calendar year. Our Outdoor Classroom and Learning Stations are busy venues, along with the Nature Center located inside the Interpretive Center. Our popular Observe and Explore Days are held twice monthly, all year long, with fun seasonal themes and nature learning activities. These sessions are designed for children ten and under, and are FREE for all.
Local schools — elementary through high school — visit us frequently for field trips based off of the educational curriculum using the learning stations. Our popular summer camp programs have expanded in recent years, with double session each for Explorer Camp and Pioneer Camp.
We also feature adult workshops with interesting environmental and nature exploration activities, ranging from water quality testing to birding and rare plant species studies..
